Community Bible Community Development Corporation (formerly known as Northwest Pasadena Development Corporation) was founded in 1970 by the Community Bible Church of Greater Pasadena (formerly Community Baptist Church), one of the oldest Black churches in Pasadena, California. The CBCDC has provided quality affordable housing for low to very low income residents in the greater Pasadena community for over 50 years. In addition to providing housing, the economic impact of the CBCDC also includes improving the quality of life for the residents.
Meet our President, Pastor Jean Burch
Pastor Jean has been the Senior Pastor of Community Bible Church of Greater Pasadena for 20 years. For the past 15 years she has been the President of the CBCDC. Pastor Jean is highly respected and admired in the Pasadena community and currently serves on the Fuller Theological Seminary Board of Trustees.
